Ric Routledge of The Star Press writes that more and more people are getting the selling bug that is currently running strong on eBay:
eBay: It’s the modern-day gold rush with a yard-sale twist.
Success stories do abound, and some people have gotten rich, or at least done well, working eBay.
“eBay is one of the hottest stories discussed all across the business schools these days,” said Sushil Sharma, associate professor at Ball State University. “I use various eBay models in my discussions.”
The site handles about 4 million transactions daily and has 115 million customers worldwide, according to Sharma.
