Bowers and Merena Auctions, America's leading rare coin and currency auction house, announced today that it had acquired Ponterio & Associates, a 26-year-old firm specializing in ancient and world coins and paper money. The firm's principals, Rick Ponterio and his sons Kent and Kyle, will be joining the management of Bowers and Merena.
